I have used pulseaudio 0.9.13 since the end of October when it became
available in Gentoo, and never encountered this problem. I just upgraded
to kernel 2.6.28, and immediately this problem appeared. I was able to
avoid it by using the --no-cpu-limit parameter, and haven't encountered
any negative affects of that yet. I hope this information helps.
