Hmm, looking at itttt again, this is actually a feature not a bug. We have
an explicit check to not do autospawning as root. This is on purpose: we
don't want to automatically run PA as root and open up potentialll
security holes to the root account.
Sorry, t I don't think it would be wise to reenablee this again.
