#541: Tunnels create sink inputs with confusing names ---------------------------+------------------------------------------------ Reporter: Saviq | Owner: lennart Type: defect | Status: new Priority: low | Milestone: Component: module-tunnel | Severity: trivial Keywords: | ---------------------------+------------------------------------------------ When a tunnel is created from host A to host B there's a sink input created at host B with name like 'pulseaudio: HDA Intel for usern...@hostname'. It's a bit confusing at first where do these come from and what do they do.
A much better name would even be 'usern...@hostname for HDA Intel' as it would actually describe what's the source and what's the destination. There can probably be an even better name, the above is just an example. -- Ticket URL: <http://pulseaudio.org/ticket/541> PulseAudio <http://pulseaudio.org/> The PulseAudio Sound Server _______________________________________________ pulseaudio-tickets mailing list pulseaudio-tickets@mail.0pointer.de https://tango.0pointer.de/mailman/listinfo/pulseaudio-tickets
