#559: Pulseaudio loops writing syslog messages after waking from suspend to disk ------------------------+--------------------------------------------------- Reporter: Ned64 | Owner: lennart Type: defect | Status: closed Milestone: | Component: daemon Resolution: elsewhere | Keywords: ------------------------+--------------------------------------------------- Changes (by lennart):
* status: new => closed * resolution: => elsewhere Comment: Please don't attach compressed files to bug reports. There is really no need to and makes it hard to read. This is an ALSA issue. Due to some reason ALSA signals us an error via POLLERR. We then try to reset the audio device via snd_pcm_drop() and snd_pcm_prepare() which seems to succeed but then results in POLLERR right again apparently. Please file a bug against ALSA in Novell's bz and mention the driver/card you have plus the explanation I posted here (and link this bug report). -- Ticket URL: <http://pulseaudio.org/ticket/559#comment:1> PulseAudio <http://pulseaudio.org/> The PulseAudio Sound Server _______________________________________________ pulseaudio-tickets mailing list pulseaudio-tickets@mail.0pointer.de https://tango.0pointer.de/mailman/listinfo/pulseaudio-tickets
