#591: Dell OEM : Creative Soundblaster Live! lost Pulseaudio support ----------------------+----------------------------------------------------- Reporter: AHelper | Owner: lennart Type: defect | Status: new Milestone: | Component: daemon Resolution: | Keywords: ----------------------+-----------------------------------------------------
Comment(by AHelper): Work-around for emu10k1 users who have sound issues: (This is in the perspective of Fedora. This might not work for other OS's) 1. Downgrade pulseaudio from 0.9.15-14 to 0.9.15-11 2. Kill and restart pulseaudio by logging off or by running: pulseaudio -k pulseaudio 3. Using pavucontrol, In the Configuration tab, change the profile to 'Output Analog 4.0 + Input Analog Stereo' That's it. This is not an official fix, just a way to get sound out of the card. Until a new release that fixes this... -- Ticket URL: <http://pulseaudio.org/ticket/591#comment:1> PulseAudio <http://pulseaudio.org/> The PulseAudio Sound Server _______________________________________________ pulseaudio-tickets mailing list pulseaudio-tickets@mail.0pointer.de https://tango.0pointer.de/mailman/listinfo/pulseaudio-tickets
