#851: pulsesink not playing

When I try to do e.g.[[BR]]
gst-launch -v pulsesrc ! pulsesink[[BR]]
It prints (while being totally mute):[[BR]]

padevchooser displays the input as recording - but the output as not
playing (meter is not displaying anything).
