#864: use GNU readline in pacmd -------------------------+-------------------------------------------------- Reporter: skierpage | Owner: lennart Type: enhancement | Status: new Milestone: | Component: daemon Keywords: | -------------------------+-------------------------------------------------- I'm using Kubuntu 10.10 RC (KDE > Phonon > Xine > PulseAudio 0.9.21-63 -gd3efa-dirty). `pacmd` is nice, but it's strange that up arrow and editing keys don't work in it, unlike most other command-line environments in Linux (ftp, gdb, python, etc.).
I think the fix is to integrate GNU readline. I dunno if the separation of pacmd from the pulseaudio server and module-cli-protocol-unix makes this harder or easier. -- Ticket URL: <http://pulseaudio.org/ticket/864> PulseAudio <http://pulseaudio.org/> The PulseAudio Sound Server _______________________________________________ pulseaudio-tickets mailing list pulseaudio-tickets@mail.0pointer.de https://tango.0pointer.de/mailman/listinfo/pulseaudio-tickets
