The code shouldn't depend on any avahi component.
More precisely, the fact that porting avahi to OS X isn't trivial is the
reason for this module. The code in there should do the same thing than
the avahi implementation, but based on Apple's own Bonjour API.
So the easy quick fix should be to simply remove all ahavi includes. Can
you try that?
Just out of interest: what are you trying to do with PA under OSX?
