Fixed in commit [eac14f687849dcb7ce5721635aab8bb261d79db8] in branch
0.24.x.
Luke - I've tested this with no certs, some certs, one cert, etc, etc.
But it makes me fairly nervous as an option so I'd welcome you taking a
close look at it. It'd be bad if this was borked.... :)
