I honestly think this isn't something that needs to be fixed.
In order to do scheduling, standalone puppet will need to maintain state
between invocations. I think this could lead to problems with stale state
causing unexpected behavior. It seems to me that the standalone
interpreter comes with an unwritten assumption of a clean state. IF so,
the best resolution of this ticket would be to make that behavior
'official' and perhaps explicit in the documentation.
