Issue #576 has been updated by luke. Status changed from Needs design decision to Accepted Assigned to changed from luke to community Affected version set to 0.24.4
I guess I'm fine with this, although I'd really like to see it done generically, so any package provider could take advantage of it. ---------------------------------------- Feature #576: Provide a way to ensure a package version "foo or later" with portage package type http://reductivelabs.com/redmine/issues/show/576 Author: trauma Status: Accepted Priority: Normal Assigned to: community Category: Gentoo Target version: unplanned Complexity: Unknown Patch: None Affected version: 0.24.4 Keywords: Currently, one can't use puppet effectively to install updates on GLSA's. There one wants to ensure that a package has at least some version (the lowest invulnerable one). IMHO something like require => ">=4.20" should be parsed correctly. ---------------------------------------- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
