Issue #1657 has been updated by jamtur01. Status changed from Unreviewed to Accepted Assigned to set to community Target version set to unplanned
---------------------------------------- Bug #1657: Description of host resource should say that the target defaults to /etc/hosts http://projects.reductivelabs.com/issues/show/1657 Author: tstoop Status: Accepted Priority: Low Assigned to: community Category: documentation Target version: unplanned Complexity: Trivial Affected version: 0.24.5 Keywords: documentation, host, /etc/hosts Like the subject. It now says:
target The file in which to store service information. Only used by those providers that write to disk (i.e., not NetInfo).
Should be something like:
target The file in which to store service information. Only used by those providers that write to disk (i.e., not NetInfo). For the parsed provider, defaults to /etc/hosts.
Or add it to the explanation of the parsed provider (but I still think it merits a mention here). Very unimportant, of course, since most people will find it out themselves. Would be better to document anyway, though. ---------------------------------------- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
