Issue #1751 has been updated by jamtur01. Category set to OSX Status changed from Unreviewed to Ready for Testing Assigned to set to community
---------------------------------------- Feature #1751: Mac OS X DirectoryService nameservice provider support for plist output and password hash files http://projects.reductivelabs.com/issues/show/1751 Author: nigelk2 Status: Ready for Testing Priority: Normal Assigned to: community Category: OSX Target version: 0.24.7 Complexity: Unknown Affected version: 0.24.6 Keywords: (Note: this also fixes http://projects.reductivelabs.com/issues/show/1536 ) Patch attached. I did try to get the user unit tests working correctly with this patch, even though it looks like they haven't ever worked with the directoryservice provider as there is a lot of netinfo cruft there. I am aiming to get that done later however. This replaces the current clear text password support with password hash file support, cleans up a few bugs related to user records not being created correctly on first run, now only merges the Authentication Authority so it doesn't stomp over LKDC and custom authorities on every run, and uses plist output for all types, which fixes the bugs with attributes with spaces in their names. Patched against origin/0.24.x Marked this as a feature, as that was the primary aim of this patch, even though it fixes a few bugs. ---------------------------------------- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
