Feature #679: The fileserver should use some kind of cache-sweeping

Category: fileserving
Target version: unplanned
Complexity: Unknown
Patch: None
Affected version: 0.24.7

The fileserver is now caching file data, as of r2629, but it should use some
kind of cache sweeping algorithm, like
"RubyCache":http://www.nongnu.org/pupa/ruby-cache-README.html uses.  This
shouldn't *really* be a problem, though, because most files are checked at
least once every half an hour, so there isn't much opportunity to clean the
cache.
