Issue #632 has been updated by luke. Status changed from Accepted to Rejected Affected version set to 0.24.7
I don't know what the right option is here, but this ticket isn't really thought out at all. ---------------------------------------- Bug #632: All constants should be upper-case in Puppet http://projects.reductivelabs.com/issues/show/632 Author: luke Status: Rejected Priority: Normal Assigned to: luke Category: language Target version: 0.25.0 Complexity: Medium Patch: None Affected version: 0.24.7 Keywords: There is significant confusion about the state of case in Puppet's parser. As discussed on the [list http://mail.madstop.com/pipermail/puppet-dev/2007-May/003448.html], we're going to switch to everything being capitalized, even the initial resource specifications. This is a significant language change and will require changing all of the docs. Of course, we'll maintain backwards compatibility in the language at the same time, with deprecation notices. ---------------------------------------- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
