Issue #2196 has been updated by jamtur01. Status changed from Unreviewed to Accepted Assigned to set to lutter Target version set to unplanned
Technically we include these files to be useful - it's really a packaging issue. I've assigned to someone Red Hat but David you're welcome to slice and dice as you like. ---------------------------------------- Bug #2196: Redhat logrotate restarts daemons multiple times http://projects.reductivelabs.com/issues/2196 Author: ianburrell Status: Accepted Priority: Normal Assigned to: lutter Category: Red Hat Target version: unplanned Complexity: Unknown Affected version: 0.24.7 Keywords: The redhat logrotate script restarts the puppet and puppetmaster services once per log file. On a server with multiple log files, this result in the services being restarted multiple times. There is a "sharedscripts" directive which causes the postrotate script to be run once instead of for each file. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
