Issue #2318 has been updated by Luke Kanies. Status changed from Accepted to Ready for Testing Assigned to changed from community - to James Turnbull
This appears to be working in the tickets/master/2318 branch in my repo. I'd appreciate someone else giving it a try, though. ---------------------------------------- Refactor #2318: Queueing should use json rather than yaml http://projects.reductivelabs.com/issues/2318 Author: Luke Kanies Status: Ready for Testing Priority: Normal Assigned to: James Turnbull Category: queuing Target version: 0.25.0 Affected version: 0.24.8 This can end up being a significant difference -- one client saw his catalogs taking ten seconds to serialize to yaml, which meant that whatever time was being saved through queueing was lost through serialization. The same catalog was taking 0.2 seconds to serialize with yaml. 90% of the work is done in my feature/master/json and refactor/0.24.8/asynchronous_storeconfigs branches, but some integration work is still to do. And it'd be best if we could switch queueing to use the Format system instead of hard-coding the serialization format, but we can save that for a later release. We can always bump this ticket, but given the performance benefit it'd be great if we didn't have to. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
