----------------------------------------
Bug #2094: filebucket errors are not obvious
http://projects.reductivelabs.com/issues/2094

Author: Phil Schwartz
Status: Ready for Checkin
Priority: Normal
Assigned to: James Turnbull
Category: fileserving
Target version: 0.25.0
Complexity: Unknown
Affected version: 0.24.7
Keywords:

Some classes are able to access files perfectly, however, sometimes they can't
and then a cryptic

err: Could not find server puppet: getaddrinfo: Name or service not known

appears. The file appears to be returned and a diff is output, however, that
error prevents the file from actually being written to the client.

The solution was to change:

filebucket { main: server => puppet }

to:

filebucket { main: server => "mypuppetmaster.example.com" }

I believe the original filebucket server was copied from the wiki, but I don't
have the link handy.
