Issue #2434 has been updated by Luke Kanies. Status changed from Unreviewed to Duplicate
This was fixed in one of the later 0.24 versions. ---------------------------------------- Bug #2434: Puppet client throws a syntax error on first run, but runs fine on the second http://projects.reductivelabs.com/issues/2434 Author: P A Status: Duplicate Priority: Normal Assigned to: Category: Target version: Complexity: Unknown Affected version: 0.24.5 Keywords: I dont know if this has been addressed already, if so please close it. On the first run, I got the following error *[r...@pwtmedbk09a ~]#* puppetd --server pwtpuppet01.siac.nystock.com --no-daemonize --verbose --onetime --report info: Retrieving plugins err: Could not retrieve catalog: Syntax error at '}' at /var/puppet/modules-app/hardening/manifests/init.pp:347 on node pwtmedbk09a.siac.nystock.com warning: Not using cache on failed catalog However, a second later, without touching the manifest or anything else, it ran fine. This is really strange. Attached is facter for the pwtmedbk09a as well. Also, the master is running puppet-0.24.6-3.el5, but he client is at puppet-0.24.5-1.fc9 - Would this have an effect? -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
