in puppet.conf
vardir = /var/lib/puppet/
then, the pid files are created in
/var/lib/puppet/run/pppetd.pid
where the
/opt/csw/lib/svc/method/svc-puppetd script cannot find it
since the pidfile location is hardcode
pidfile=/var/puppet/run/puppetd.pid
Here is the output from: /var/svc/log/network-puppetd:default.log
