Issue #1742 has been updated by Jesse Wolfe. File 0001-Bug-1742-Invalid-params-to-color-outputs-nil.patch added Status changed from Accepted to Ready for Testing
This patch: Invalid color options now just produce uncolored output. It seems to me that this isn't important enough to issue a warning about an invalid setting. ---------------------------------------- Bug #1742: --color accepts parameters other than true, false, ansi, html - but produces "nil" output http://projects.reductivelabs.com/issues/1742 Author: Sven Mueller Status: Ready for Testing Priority: Low Assigned to: Category: executables Target version: unplanned Affected version: 0.24.6 Keywords: Branch: If you specify colorization other than the defined four values (true, false, ansi, html), there is no error message, but the output is only a number of lines all being: "nil" (literally). As a side note, allowing "none" or "no" as aliases to "false" would be nice, they seem a bit more intuitive. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
