Bug #3039: 0.25.3 gem spec specifies the executables incorrectly
http://projects.reductivelabs.com/issues/3039

Author: Clarence Tso
Status: Accepted
Priority: Normal
Assigned to: James Turnbull
Category: installation
Target version: unplanned
Affected version: 0.25.3
Keywords:
Branch:

Recently, the rake task for creating the gem was refactored to make things more
clean but there was a small mistake in the gsub method. The result was that
executables created by the gem would be something like "load '/puppet'" instead
of "load 'puppet'".

Since I've yet to figure out how to develop for Puppet properly, I'll just post
the change I made for now to get my 0.25.3 gem to work.

tasks/rake/gem.rake Line 28:
old line: spec.executables = EXECUTABLES.gsub(/sbin|bin/, '').to_a
new line: spec.executables = EXECUTABLES.gsub(/sbin\/|bin\//, '').to_a

Just added the characters to detect the slash after bin and sbin.
