Chris Barker created an issue   Facter / FACT-1254 Custom Structured Facts don't return values via dot syntax Issue Type: Bug Assignee: Unassigned Created: 2015/10/09 9:37 AM Priority: Normal Reporter: Chris Barker In facter doing a lookup for a built in fact via dot notation works: facter os.name returns RedHat However a custom structured fact: facter ec2_tags { name => "tse-testmaster", pe_role => "aio", pe_build => "2015.2.0", created_by => "chrisbarker", department => "tse", project => "awsdemo" } Does not. In the above example, one would think that ec2_tags.name would return "tse-testmaster" but instead it returns an empty string.
