Sinux Shen created an issue   Puppet / PUP-6297 puppet agent not using SRV record to resolve puppet master while retriving pluginfacts and plugin Issue Type: Bug Assignee: Unassigned Attachments: output Created: 2016/05/12 8:30 AM Environment: OS: CentOS 7.1 puppet agent version: puppet-3.8.4-1.el7.noarch Priority: Major Reporter: Sinux Shen Hi, I have a plan to set multiple master with one CA server in our environment, currently, I just splitted the master and CA, and I use SRV record to let my agent pick CA server and master server, but it runs something weird while retrieving pluginfacts and plugins, it was actually talking to https://puppet, which was not exist in our environment, I attached the debug log for your reference, I have tested to disable plugignsync in puppet.conf, and the error is gone, but it prevent us form syncing the stdlibs and plugins/customized libraries which will cause other problems.
