Issue #4124 has been updated by Matt Robinson. Status changed from Investigating to Accepted Target version set to Statler Affected version changed from 2.6alpha1 to 0.25.5
Talked to Dan and decided that this was okay to push to after 2.6 partly since it's already a problem in 0.25.x. Will look into if it's really easy, but it sounds like the way to do this would be to make the providers just do things the right way instead of having has_status as a parameter to providers. At least that's what I've gleaned from the conversation. ---------------------------------------- Bug #4124: puppet resource service does not correctly list disabeld services on centos 5 http://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/4124 Author: Dan Bode Status: Accepted Priority: Normal Assigned to: Matt Robinson Category: Target version: Statler Affected version: 0.25.5 Keywords: Branch: ralsh lists more disabled services that chkconfig --list is aware of. here is a list of the things that puppet should not be listing as services: <pre> functions halt killall krb524 single </pere> the puppet_spec tests are equivalent to: <pre> # ralsh service | grep false | wc -l 34 [r...@puppet2 spec]# for i in `chkconfig --list | awk -F' ' '{print $1}'` ; do if ! chkconfig $i; then echo $i; fi; done | wc -l 29 </pre> -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
