facter macaddress omits leading zeros, giving results like "0:ab:cd:e:12:3"
where I would prefer the more conventional "00:ab:cd:0e:12:03".
workaround:

$good_macaddress = inline_template('<%= macaddress.split(":").map{|x|
"0#{x}"[-2..-1]}.join(":") %>')
</pre>
