Maggie Dreyer updated an issue   Puppet / PUP-6958 Ship locale files as part of the Puppet gem Change By: Maggie Dreyer The  locales directory needs to be present as part of the Puppet gem, most importantly for now, the config.yaml file needed by gettext-setup in order to run any puppet code using the {{_()}} string marking method. In addition, eventually the  translation files for Puppet need to be shipped with the gem, to allow users of the Puppet gem to take advantage of translations.  We need to investigate  Both of these can be accomplished by assuring  the  best way to do this, then update packaging to correctly ship  {{locales/}} directory gets packaged with  the  data files  gem .
