Issue #3784 has been updated by Nigel Kersten.
Are we comfortable with changing the behavior of this type so radically? I'm leaning towards another type called something like k5login_entry or something instead, as I can imagine a significant subset of users are relying upon the existing behavior. ---------------------------------------- Bug #3784: k5login provider should use ParsedFile and allow edits to an existing .k5login http://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/3784 Author: Jason Wright Status: Accepted Priority: Normal Assignee: Category: Target version: Affected version: 0.25.4 Keywords: k5login Branch: The k5login provider currently overwrites the specified .k5login file with the principals given in the resource definition. It would be very useful if the provider were switched to ParsedFile and refactored to allow principals to be inserted and removed from an existing .k5login. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
