Issue #4477 has been updated by Rudy Gevaert.

I upgraded my master to 2.6.1rc3 and one client to 2.6.1rc3 too:
<pre>
wopr:~# puppet master --version
2.6.1

cyrprd1:/etc/init.d# puppet master --version
2.6.1
</pre>

This version doesn't show me the node name on my master:
<pre>
Aug 31 16:46:54 wopr puppet-master[28831]: Could not find file_metadata for
'files/netbackup/exclude_list.servers_rectoraat.cyrprd1'
Aug 31 16:46:54 wopr puppet-master[28831]: File does not exist or is not
accessible: /etc/puppet/files/netbackup/exclude_list.servers_sterre.development
Aug 31 16:46:54 wopr puppet-master[28831]: Could not find file_metadata for
'files/netbackup/exclude_list.servers_sterre.development'
</pre>

Feature #4477: node name in debug message

Hi,

I think it would be easy if the debug messages (that are sent to syslog) would
have the node name on each line. That way it's easy to debug a specific node.
