Note the error message has been recently updated: $ bx bolt task run sample::subdir::echo -n cvhxajwxw5o4m4y.delivery.puppetlabs.net --modulepath spec/fixtures/modules -k message=foo Could not find task 'sample::subdir::echo' in module 'sample' But plans work as expected: $ bx bolt plan run sample::subdir::single_task nodes=cvhxajwxw5o4m4y.delivery.puppetlabs.net --modulepath spec/fixtures/modules -k ExecutionResult({'cvhxajwxw5o4m4y.delivery.puppetlabs.net' => "cvhxajwxw5o4m4y got passed the message: hi there\n"}) /cc Alex Dreyer, Henrik Lindberg. Do we support tasks in subfolders in a module? I assume so, because you can run one from a plan. Assuming yes, it appears there is a problem with TaskInformationService#task_data as it can't load the task and raises TaskNotFound. Although bolt will be using PAL soon to load tasks, I think this is going to be an issue for puppetserver's REST API.
