Issue #718 has been updated by Nigel Kersten. Status changed from Code Insufficient to Closed Assignee set to Nigel Kersten
I would love to see this go in, but until we get improved code and/or expressions of interest, closing. As per the below thread, we're more aggressively closing tickets whose state is unsure, particularly old tickets with little to no inactivity in a long time. You are free to reopen them. http://groups.google.com/group/puppet-users/browse_thread/thread/a040cb9bc5c5b647 ---------------------------------------- Feature #718: rudimentary CPAN support https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/718 Author: Jim Blomo Status: Closed Priority: Normal Assignee: Nigel Kersten Category: package Target version: unplanned Patch: Insufficient Affected Puppet version: 0.25.0 Keywords: Branch: Attached is the ruby file I wrote for a CPAN provider for puppetd --version 0.20.1 (this is stable version for debian etch). I plan on updating it for 0.23.0-1 next and providing better error handling. It requires an existing /etc/perl/CPAN/Config.pm file, which I've used puppet to install. Please let me know if there are mistaken assumptions or errors, I am very new to puppet :) Jim -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
