Jira (PUP-8465) support of backup attribute with the file_line resource

Ravidatta Harishankar created an issue   Puppet / PUP-8465 support of backup attribute with the file_line resource Issue Type: Improvement Assignee: Unassigned Created: 2018/02/14 11:36 AM Environment: As you may be aware that we have a file bucket resource which can be adopted to backup the files.   however most of the files are getting edited via file_line and it is unfortunate that file_line resource does not supports the backup attribute like File resource.   can we get that feature please? For more detailed information turn up the server logs by upping the log level in the server's logback.xml Relevant sections of configurations files (puppet.conf, hiera.conf, Server's conf.d, defaults/sysconfig) For memory issues with server heap dumps are also helpful.
