Tony Vu commented on PUP-8748   Re: Puppet::Rest::Client should allow its verify mode to be configured by the caller One small aspect of this would be to include the current DefaultValidator in the ssl_config, something like: ssl_config.verify_callback = (Puppet::SSL::DefaultValidator.new(ca_path)) I was going to do this as part of a followup to PUP-8690, but I don't think that makes sense to do now because we don't have any code that actually exercises it; we should introduce that verify_callback when we are ready to actually use it...which is probably this ticket?
