Issue #5521 has been updated by Nigel Kersten. Status changed from Needs design decision to Accepted Assignee deleted (Nigel Kersten)
It should default to true, assuming we fix the error that appears when you try to do pluginsync but don't have anything in your 'lib' module sub-directories. I'll try to dig that bug up today. ---------------------------------------- Feature #5521: pluginsync should be defaulted to true https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/5521 Author: Andrew Forgue Status: Accepted Priority: Normal Assignee: Category: plug-ins Target version: Affected Puppet version: Keywords: Branch: With large installations it makes sense to have a config-less client install to ease deployment. Without a config file and reasonable defaults you can just install puppet and run it and get expected results. In these kinds of environments there are almost always plugins that need to be distributed to clients. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
