Issue #2088 has been updated by James Turnbull. Status changed from Needs design decision to Closed
I'm going to close this as a downstream issue. ---------------------------------------- Bug #2088: logrotate on RHEL5.2 https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/2088 Author: Waldemar Brodkorb Status: Closed Priority: Normal Assignee: David Lutterkort Category: Red Hat Target version: unplanned Affected Puppet version: 0.24.7 Keywords: logrotate init script error Branch: Hi, there is a problem with the puppet init script at least on RedHat 5.2. Logrotate runs weekly and uses /etc/init.d/puppet reload, after this we can not access the puppet daemon via puppetrun anymore. If I change the logrotate configuration file to use /etc/init.d/puppet restart, everything works fine. bye Waldemar -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
