Issue #6323 has been updated by Maver X.

Yes, I'm using storeconfigs.

An other thing which may cause the problem is the following:

Sun Feb 27 01:01:00 +0100 2011 Puppet (err): Fileserver module 'custom' not
mounted
Sun Feb 27 01:01:01 +0100 2011 Puppet (err): Fileserver module 'puppet' not
mounted

testhost2.test.ch in environment ---
Sun Feb 27 01:01:08 +0100 2011 Puppet (err): Fileserver module 'hostconfig' not
mounted
Sun Feb 27 01:01:11 +0100 2011 Puppet (err): Fileserver module 'hostconfig' not

Sun Feb 27 01:01:13 +0100 2011 Puppet (err): Fileserver module 'hostconfig' not
mounted
Sun Feb 27 01:01:19 +0100 2011 Puppet (err): Fileserver module 'net-snmp' not
mounted
Sun Feb 27 01:01:19 +0100 2011 Puppet (notice): Compiled catalog for
testhost.test.ch in environment --- "--- production" in 0.02 seconds

Suddenly, the module are "not mounted" anymore. Don't know why?

Bug #6323: Backslash flooded log and empty catalog (\\\\\)

Hi everybody

I have a curious problem with puppetmaster 2.64 running on sles11.1 x64.
After a fresh daemon startup everything works like a charm, but after some time
(mostly after 3 - 4 hours) the Puppetmaster sends empty catalogs to the client
and floods the log with backslashes. => see attached logfile.
(Compiled catalog for host32.anonymiz.ed in environment --- "--- \"--- \\\"---
\\\\\\\"--- \\\\\\\\\\\)

A puppetrun on the clients takes then 0.01s and always finishes successfully.

The memory consumption and the memory load of the puppetmaster seems to be
normal all the time.
The problem can only be solved with the restart of the puppetmaster daemon.

This looks somehow similar to Bug #5717 but isn't depending on the module that
is compiled.

Anyone having the same issue?
