Issue #6756 has been updated by R.I. Pienaar.

Status changed from Unreviewed to Rejected

This is the same as in puppet, if you're using centos you should configure the
plugin to use the status option else puppet will just grep for the service name
in ps.

set: plugin.service.hasstatus=true in server.cfg

Bug #6756: mc-service matching incomplete service names
https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/6756

Author: Matthew Cashdollar
Status: Rejected
Priority: Low
Assignee:
Category:
Target version:
Keywords: mc-service service
Branch:
Affected mCollective version: 1.1.2

I am using the latest mc-service plugin from github. I noticed that when I do
"mc-service puppet status" it shows puppet is running on one of my nodes
(CentOS servers). However, when I logged into the server I saw it only had
puppetmasterd running. I think the mc-service agent is doing some regexing or
something similar...
