Issue #6934 has been reported by Chuck Schweizer. ---------------------------------------- Bug #6934: nonexistent classes specified in external node definitions https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/6934
Author: Chuck Schweizer Status: Unreviewed Priority: Normal Assignee: Category: Target version: Affected Puppet version: Keywords: Branch: Nonexistent classes specified in the external node definitions should not stop puppet from compiling a manifest or the client running. There are currently puppet users who expect puppet to not die if a class in the ENC does not exist. Possible options include * creating a puppet master configuration setting that will enable or disable strict checking for non-existent classes in the ENC * allow client to run but log non-existent classes as errors during the client run Continuation of #4576 -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
