Issue #7021 has been updated by Matt Robinson. Status changed from Ready For Testing to Available In Testing Branch
Just talked to James, this has already been merged in. In addition, more code on top of this (without any ticket number associated with it) has since been merged in as part of commit:07b677c. I'm updating this ticket as available in testing branch. At some point it might be nice if some code review was done, but apparently the decision was made to merge this in without that since in theory it didn't touch parts of core - although briefly reading through some tests associated with it that are failing intermittently it does add some logic to the Transaction class which I do consider to be part of core. Another issue with this patch is that it creates a type called interface, which is awfully confusing considering our "faces" feature is called interface behind the scenes in the code. I'll open another ticket about this. ---------------------------------------- Feature #7021: Cisco POC for managing network devices https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/7021 Author: James Turnbull Status: Available In Testing Branch Priority: Normal Assignee: Nigel Kersten Category: newfeature Target version: Statler Affected Puppet version: Keywords: Cisco network vlan interface Branch: https://github.com/jamtur01/puppet/tree/tickets/master7021 I've updated and rebased Brice's original patch (https://github.com/masterzen/puppet/commits/feature%2Fnetwork-device/) and fixed some RSpec tests. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
