Issue #7650 has been updated by R.I. Pienaar. Category set to Core Status changed from Unreviewed to Accepted Assignee set to R.I. Pienaar Target version set to 1.3.x
---------------------------------------- Feature #7650: Allow registration plugins to use a target_collective configuration https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/7650 Author: Matt Pascoe Status: Accepted Priority: Normal Assignee: R.I. Pienaar Category: Core Target version: 1.3.x Keywords: registration Branch: Affected mCollective version: I have servers configured to send registration data. By default they will send registration messages into the "main_collective" that is defined for the server. I would like to be able to control via server.cfg which collective the registration plugin sends its data to. Per IRC conversations a new configuration setting such as "plugin.registration.target_collective" could be set to instruct messages to go to that collective. I've attached an updated version of meta.rb that Volcane helped me put together. (yea ok, he did pretty much all the work.. I just tested that it did send the meta data in) -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
