I'm trying to override parameters of a class, but it does not work as expected.
class heimdal($realm='LOCAL.SITE') {
file {
'/tmp/config_test':
ensure => present,
content => "${realm}\n",
mode => 0666;
}
}
class workstation {
class {
heimdal:
realm => 'MYSITE';
}
}
class this_workstation inherits workstation {
Class['heimdal'] {
realm => 'THEOTHERSITE'
}
}
include this_workstation
I would expect 'THEOTHERSITE' in the file /tmp/config_test, but it contains
'MYSITE'.
