The old behavior was that nodes, classes, and groups would have their name in
the URL in order to navigate to them, and this was changed to use their
internal ID. The line from the HTTP log you posted that looks most related is:
192.168.200.91 - - [29/Mar/2011:20:26:15 -0500] "GET /node_classes/1
HTTP/1.1" 200 3930
However that was a successful request, and looked up the class by ID, so dashes
in the name wouldn't have affected it at all. Are you getting any kind of
error message in the Dashboard log files?
You also mentioned Puppet Enterprise; if this is part of a PE install, you
really should contact support since they should be able to help get it sorted
out more quickly.
