Issue #5243 has been updated by Peter Meier.
It would be could if we could also add a timeout to such a flag. So that I can tell the dashboard to ignore the specific host only within the next few hours (as we would have a maintenance window etc.). Similar to what nagios provides, but already having an API for it would be quite sufficient. ---------------------------------------- Feature #5243: Ability to "acknowledge" a failing host https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/5243 Author: Andrew Forgue Status: Accepted Priority: Normal Assignee: Category: Target version: Keywords: Branch: Affected URL: Affected Dashboard version: I know that dashboard isn't a monitoring system, but it would be nice to be able to "acknowledge" a host that's in an error state. Something that lets me know that some of the failing hosts are broken for a reason (hardware error causing puppet runs to fail), or maybe change the state of the host to 'ignored' so you can still look at it, but it doesn't show up on the error sections.
