Issue #4188 has been updated by Peter Meier.
Something that I would also like to see, is the possibility to not show every class/group, as the list can become quite long. For example an option to only show directly used classes/groups (means: the ones that directly contain nodes) would tremendously reduce the selector menu and give a much more direct entry point to the "important" classes/groups. Well, it can become very opinionated which ones are "important", but showing a lot of groups/classes with node count 0, is imho not that very useful in most cases. ---------------------------------------- Feature #4188: Improve left-hand group and class selector menu https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/4188 Author: David Schmitt Status: Needs Decision Priority: Normal Assignee: Randall Hansen Category: Target version: Keywords: interface usability Branch: Affected URL: Affected Dashboard version: Please make groups and classes sortable by member count and name in the left-hand menus. Also, those menus are pretty small. A possibility to open them in-place would be great. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
