Issue #7221 has been updated by James Turnbull. Status changed from Merged - Pending Release to Closed Target version changed from 2.7.x to 2.7.0
---------------------------------------- Bug #7221: Face documentation methods should strip some (but not all) whitespace from multi-line strings https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/7221 Author: Nick Fagerlund Status: Closed Priority: Normal Assignee: Daniel Pittman Category: Faces Target version: 2.7.0 Affected Puppet version: 2.7.0rc1 Keywords: Branch: Gotta use multi-line strings as arguments to the faces help methods. Things to consider: * Leading whitespace is a syntactical element in Markdown, so we can't just eat it. * If we do a multi-line string in quotes instead of a heredoc, the first character will actually be flush left as far as Ruby can tell. Does that mean we should ONLY use heredocs for multiline strings, or is there a way around that? -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
