Issue #8299 has been reported by Jeff McCune. ---------------------------------------- Feature #8299: Actions generally applicable to nodes should be moved back to the node subcommand https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/8299
Author: Jeff McCune Status: Needs More Information Priority: Normal Assignee: Jeff McCune Category: Target version: Keywords: cloudpack Branch: Roadmapped: No # Overview # Based on information from Pieter and Daniel, many of the actions written for cloud pack are not "cloud specific" and are generally applicable to nodes so long as SSH access is available. This yak needs to be shaved: * Determine the actions which are not cloud specific (The working understanding from Pieter is that only create and terminate are cloud specific) * Move the actions that work for arbitrary systems back to the node subcommand * Is it acceptable to have some actions on cloudnode and some actions on node?
