Issue #8420 has been reported by Justin Dow. ---------------------------------------- Bug #8420: Puppet 2.7.x using mongrel and apache doesn't work with new clients https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/8420
Author: Justin Dow Status: Unreviewed Priority: High Assignee: Category: Target version: Affected Puppet version: 2.7.1 Keywords: Branch: Steps to reproduce: 1. upgrade puppet 2.6.x to 2.7.x 2. upgrade clients 3. on the puppet master remove a node's *vardir*/yaml/node/ and *vardir*/yaml/facts/ files 4. run puppet on that client Expected result: new .yaml files are created and client is happy. Actual result: only one of the two .yaml files are created and it is missing all the facts about the client, so simple the client gets an error for things like "can't find $architechture", etc. We've since moved to using passenger, so I can't supply much more info, but I was told I should file this bug in order to hopefully help other people still using mongrel. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
