Issue #8503 has been updated by Chris Boulton.

The call to `inputs.compact!` in ApplicationHelper is the cause of this, which
came in with commit:a44d9ff414072f0185ae.

Bug #8503: Unable to assign classes to a nodegroup on create

After bringing up a new version of the dashboard

<pre>
1.2rc1-1-g3f0afca
</pre>

I create a class called foo, then try to create a group called foo_node which
uses the class, I get the following error:

<pre>
The page you were looking for doesn't exist.

You may have mistyped the address or the page may have moved.

</pre>

I also don't see the javascript autocomplete stuff for the class

the address where I am forwarded to is
http://[email protected]:3000/node_groups

if I omit the class during node creation, it works

Also, if I create the node without assigning the class, then edit the node, it
works.
