Issue #8590 has been reported by Jeff Blaine. ---------------------------------------- Bug #8590: Poor wording, IMO (audit messages) https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/8590
Author: Jeff Blaine Status: Unreviewed Priority: Low Assignee: Category: auditing/compliance Target version: Affected Puppet version: Keywords: Branch: The wording here: "audit change: previously recorded value owner root has been changed to owner daemon" could be clearer, IMO. The "audit change" is ambiguous. Wait, audit changed something? The "has been changed" is also a little more misleading than it needs to be. How about: "audit discrepancy: owner daemon exists where owner root expected" or "audit exception: owner daemon exists where owner root expected" -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
