Issue #9085 has been updated by James Turnbull. Status changed from Unreviewed to Accepted
---------------------------------------- Bug #9085: improvements for "Testing that Dashboard is Working" https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/9085 Author: Joshua Lifton Status: Accepted Priority: Normal Assignee: Nick Fagerlund Category: Target version: Keywords: dashboard Branch: Affected URL: http://docs.puppetlabs.com/dashboard/manual/1.2/bootstrapping.html#turning-dashboard-on In the overview there is a section listed as "Testing that Dashboard is Working" but the actual heading for this section is "Turning Dashboard On." These headings should be unified. Furthermore, in the section itself, the command for running the server is listed as: sudo -u puppet-dashboard ./script/server -e production but no description is given of the options. In particular, the "-e production" option should be explained since it is presumably specific to dashboard. Reiterating that the puppet-dashboard user and group must be created if puppet-dashboard was installed from source would also make things clearer - this is pointed out earlier in the document, but repetition is useful. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
